Scholarship Information

A yearly $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to a graduating high school senior or currently enrolled college student.  To be eligible, student must either be planning to study a Culinary related major in college OR have a very strong background in community service and volunteerism. 

All grants will be paid directly to the institution.

High school seniors entering college and returning college students attending accredited U.S. colleges or universities are eligible to apply for the scholarship.

Awards may only be used for undergraduate study and are limited to those seeking a first bachelor’s degree.

Awards will only be granted to applicants who are permanent residents of New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire and Maine.  However, recipients may attend college anywhere in the United States.

Required Materials

• Official high school transcript for all academic work through 1st semester of senior year.
• Two recommendations Teacher, Guidance Counselor, Community Leader
• 2020-2021 Student Aid Report from FAFSA.
• Financial Aid Award for 2020-2021 from the college where the student would like to attend.
• A resume highlighting activities, jobs, honors and service.
• 1000 words or less essay on why you are deserving of this special scholarship.  

Regular Deadline:  May 1, 2020. Applicants will be notified of decision in late May. 

Early Response Deadline:  April 1, 2020. Available only to high school students who have the financial aid information from the college they prefer to attend.
